I’ve just realized in next year, Minimal Role will no longer be free for everyone, but only for players, for whom almost nothing will change. Meanwhile, Game Masters will be entitled to just one active campaign for free; otherwise, they’ll need to subscribe for €6 per month to have more. Considering there are hundreds of players and only a few GMs who volunteer to manage campaigns, create stories, prepare scenic materials, keep everything on track, and excite the players—should they really be the ones paying? Many will abandon the platform and prefer playing where it’s still free, like Discord or Harpy, just to keep multiple different stories open or parallel paths within the same one (multiverses, different narrative layers, etc.). Does anyone know when version 1.0 of the site will launch, which will require subscription plans? Because by then, I plan to close all my campaigns, say goodbye to my players, shed a couple of tears, and move on.
