Contexte HRP

📜 Les Arpenteurs d'Icatia est un projet de taille réduite permettant le développement sur le long terme de vos personnages RP au sein d'une trame World of Warcraft parallèle à la temporalité BFA pour l'apparition principale de vos protagonistes au sein de cette réalité alternative. Cette aventure est rythmée par des évents réguliers chaque semaines (en moyenne 1 par semaines) avec des phases de RP social, entourant des quêtes principales (trame histoire) et des quêtes secondaires (réputation et développement de personnage). C'est aussi un projet à thème utilisant comme support, le système DND5e modifié sous forme de homebrew (WC5e), contenant toutes les classes DND5e redesignées pour s'intégrer aux dynamiques de l'univers de WOW. N'ayez pas peur si vous êtes frileux avec ces systèmes, le MJ sera là pour vous accompagner lors des sessions.

⚠️ Votre personnage sera régulièrement exposé à des évènements plus ou moins traumatisants, le thème général de la trame étant le Grimdark, les thèmes abordés ne seront pas forcément adaptés à tous les publics (Sang, Violences, Tensions familiales, Manipulation, Lovecraftiens, etc...) ne soyez pas surpris de voir des comportements de PNJ inhabituels ou beaucoup moins ouvert que sur WOW officiel.

Semaine 1 de idée de scénario au quelle j'aimerais bien jouer.

Pour cette première semaine je vais vous proposer un scénario qui pourrait se jouer sans aucune règle(juste avec un mj). Les joueurs sont des dirigeants de royaume ou de nation qu'elle conque et doivent faire face à de différentes crise ( guerre, maladie, famine...). Ce scénario peut être joué à n'importe quel époque et univers sans trop de difficulté.

Ah au fait j'ai créé un scénario et je cherche des joueurs il s'appelle "la cuisine légendaire" n'hésitez pas à me contacter si sa vous intéresse

I just saw a post about a new Netflix animated movie that's an interpretation of Cinderella's step sisters and all of the comments were not being kind to it saying stuff along the lines of "it's not original, we want original stories not different versions of existing ones" and this gave me a lot to think about.

There are great stories that come from someone finding and existing one and wanting to add their own spin to it, like Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio and Frankenstein. Sometimes you don't need to create a whole new world and characters and theme, just find something to resonate with and add your own spin and interpetration to it and make it entirely your own.

But the comment section was treating this form as lesser than other forms of storytelling if it's not entirely original, a Cinderella reinterpretation isn't worth anything for them. You could say that it doesn't match the same quality as Del Toro's interpretrations but I believe that not all art or stories need to match the best to be worth existing, not everythig needs to be perfect and flawless to have a right to exist and to be expressed.

Of course this is more of a response of stories that were adapted by Disney being so endlessly re-adapted by a lot of other studios hoping to get a fraction of that attention often at the detriment of the artists not letting them have time or freedom to put their own spin to it. Or because the trailer said it would be a story to try to make the villains missunderstood and we also saw a lot of those the past decades but also.

So what? Just because a story has been adapted many times it can't be adapted one more time? Just because you've seen a lot of stories about misunderstood villains you can't see another one? This by itself is a way to restrict artists and storytellers too. I even saw comments saying that "Cinderella only makes sense if the sisters are evil" and I can't agree with that, of course the stepsisters doing bad things are a big part of Cinderella's plight in many versions of it but they don't need to be evil for that, and I think adding depth to it instead of making them black and white can also do a lot for a theme and moral of a story like that.

I'm probably overthinking it, maybe there's merit for the criticism since I haven't seen the trailers but the arguments made me a bit ick.

tldr: A rambly discussion of the merit of interpetrations, what makes one worth it and what makes one shunned

Eu acordei mais cedo que o normal pois hoje estava calor pra K7 então quando dei por mim tive ideias sobre rpg

Eu decidi começar o projeto e tive algumas ideias e decidi aplicar,e decidi que primeiro farei tudo do rpg pra depois chamar os players,sendo assim não terei foco em chamar ou convidar jogadores até semana quem vem,porém sim...eu vou receber mensagem de interessados e responderei,não só isso mas quem tiver interesse e quiser entrar é só mandar mensagem e conversamos

"Ah gatoRPGista mas é sobre oque a campanha?" eu respondo:hoje no final da tarde farei call com os interessados e os players já confirmados e iremos conversar e marcar tudo
