Minimal Roleplay has been up and running for over 9 months now, and since then it's been growing from strength to strength, and the quality of use is following suit. There are more players and they're playing more and more! This is excellent news and the whole team is delighted to have a community so committed to Minimal Roleplay.

Let's talk content

Over the last few weeks, we've been adding more content, more videos and more live shows. The aim of all these formats is to entertain you, stimulate your creativity and educate you. Don't hesitate to follow us on Discord and Twitter to find out about our broadcast schedules and make sure you don't miss a thing!

Minimal Powerpoint

This live format on Twitch announces the new features to come and looks back at important issues concerning the future and decisions made for Minimal Roleplay.

Minimal Coffee

A weekly feature on role-playing games, participatory funding (Kickstarter, Ulule, Game on Tabletop) and Minimal Roleplay. It's a great way to chill out early in the morning every Wednesday!

Minimal Party

Every month, you'll have the chance to play with us on Minimal Party. It's quite simple: a game, you and us, and an evening of great fun!

Minimal Creators

In the form of a competition, Minimal Creators pushes your creativity. Whether it's scripts, adventures or other varied formats, we'll be back live to vote for the best entry or entries!

Minimal POV

Interview format where we ask serious questions about the future of Minimal Roleplay.

Help center

We're striving to make the site more accessible and easier to use - that's our mantra! Unfortunately, role-playing is a complex field to understand and we can't anticipate all the needs of our members. We're not giving up hope of making all our interfaces and role-playing rules fluid, but let's face it, it's going to take a lot of work!

To make up for these shortcomings, we're working on a huge game aid that will answer any questions you may still have. And if you still have questions, we suggest you contact an administrator or referrer! We're always happy to help.

Community galleries

Offering an adventure or scenario to the entire Minimal Roleplay community is too complex these days, and our certification process is too demanding.

We want you to be able to show off your creations from Minimal Roleplay creators to the whole community. To do this, we're creating community galleries where you can publish your creations with a simplified validation process.

Your opinion counts

The community galleries will be opening, and our members' creations will be multiplying, so it's only natural that you should be able to vote and send your comments to these creative people!

The founding chests

This is the first way you can support us, and the founding chests will be available for purchase (in one shot) from the next update. Lots of rewards will be in there, but we'll come back to that in a live broadcast on 7 May 2024 on Twitch at 9pm CET. Numerous announcements concerning the economic future of Minimal Roleplay.

Improved visibility

If you play on Minimal Roleplay, you've probably made a mistake when it comes to configuring the visibility of one of your messages. We're going to prevent you from spoiling the other players in your game by making a careless mistake.

Referrers

We're delighted to welcome some new members to the team! Exumen, Neo, Traumination and Tsianj, who you probably know if you're with us on the Discord. They've taken on the responsibility of helping you if you need it. So don't hesitate to come and get to know them, ask them questions and give them a hard time if you feel like it (as long as it's not the staff you're allowed to).

Minimal Mansion, chapter 1

You loved the first Minimal Mansion adventure: The Manor, Minimal Roleplay's epic tutorial. Well, the sequel is now being written! Join Violette and the Butler in this new opus, full of surprises.

Minimal Icons

As you've probably noticed, at the moment the icons available to embellish your character sheets are... basic and very much related to the world of the web and not to gaming. We're preparing a whole series of role-playing icons to enhance your character sheets. Potions, equipment, spells etc.

Premade characters

A lot of our members are starting up new games with new people, and each time they have the same problem: they have to redo the character sheets, almost exactly as they were the last time they played... It's almost over!

In the next update, you'll be able to add premade characters to your character sheets. One-click allocation to your players will solve the huge problem of creating a new game!

We don't have an official release date, but we hope to be able to finish all these features in May.
