Firecamp, the social network for roleplayers
Welcome to Minimal Firecamp, the first social network designed specifically for role-players. This unique space allows role-playing enthusiasts to exchange ideas, share their adventures and find fellow players from all over the world.
Firecamp is part of the fast-growing Minimal Roleplay platform, which already attracts thousands of players and game masters. It's the perfect audience for content creators, publishers and all the passionate role-players out there!
On the programme: the classic posts, comments, shares and likes, but also dice rolls and the ability to personalise your public profile to your image.
A free, inspiring and respectful format
We love to write, and we know you do too. We also know that you have a lot to share. The publication format on Minimal Firecamp is designed to be free and without limits. A great deal of attention has been paid to the editorial process to ensure that you feel totally free to write.
Posts can be written like articles, with the option of incorporating videos (via links), images and even dice rolls. Because... we're gamers and we love it! It's a new way to show off your best unlocked dice on Minimal Roleplay.
We know that the media shared on a network of this kind do not always belong to us, such as illustration images, videos, etc. Our attribution system will allow you to simply credit the authors with their name and a link to their content.
Safety and caring
The first question is: "How can we avoid the toxicity that can be found on other networks?
First of all, we're on a role-playing platform, which acts as a first filter for our members. We want to guarantee a quality audience for all Minimal Firecamp creators.
To take things a step further, we will be introducing a semantic analysis of all content before it is made visible. In concrete terms, every piece of writing on the platform will be examined to detect sensitive subjects such as politics, violence and so on. These subjects will automatically be subject to a trigger warning. By default, members of the network will not see any posts with an active trigger warning, with each member free to decide whether or not to display them.
Finally, the third bulwark is the reporting system. This will enable any problematic content that might slip through the other filters to be dealt with manually, ensuring that appropriate moderation decisions are taken.
Arrival in september and early opening
Minimal Firecamp will open in September for all Minimal Roleplay members. However, we will be opening early for all our publisher and content creator partners.
Would you like to take part in this early opening, contact us, or would you like to be the first to sit around the fire? Register with Minimal Roleplay. And if you want more information, join our Discord.
So get your plaid and marshmallows ready, and see you on 1 September 2024!
